April 17, 2019 -- Khyati Mahavadia, from Ahmedabad, India, moved to Dallas in 2015. She considered a university in Texas before deciding Wichita State’s reputation and the applied learning opportunities connected with Wichita’s industry offered her the best position.

March 22, 2019 -- Chase Rawlings, a local 3rd grader, was born without a fully developed left hand. A team at WSU led by senior engineering major Chelsea Sewell created a 3D-printed robotic hand for Chase.

Oct. 2, 2018 -- Wichita State University has been awarded $813,000 to boost enrollment and retention of students under-represented in science, technology, engineering and math.
